Bottlinger Law L.L.C. Announces 5 Finalists for 2018 Scholarship

It’s official: our Bottlinger Law L.L.C. scholarship closed on May 24^th, and we’ve narrowed the race down to five finalists—five students who impressed us greatly with their qualifications and essays. Actually, we were impressed by a great many of the applications, and were very pleased to learn that the up-and-coming generation is a talented, compassionate, and determined one.

Without further ado, here are our finalists, in no particular order:

• Gabriella Hamada – Brentwood, TN
• James Pease – Stamford, CT
• Haven Johansen – Park City, UT
• Lauren Jacobsen – Wisner, NE
• Mallory Freeze – Concord, NC

Congratulations, finalists!

Out of more than nine hundred applications essays, yours stood out. The deliberations in our office have been lively, but we all agree: each of our finalists is a strong candidate to take the $1,000 prize. Now, we have the hard and somewhat unpleasant task of choosing just one finalist. We will be announcing that winner on June 26, 2018. Please follow our blog and Facebook page for all updates.

To all the students who applied, we wish to thank you. In the rush of the scholarship season, you went above and beyond to answer our essay questions, and we appreciate it. We wish you good luck in all your future endeavors, and encourage you to continue your education. It’s a lifelong pursuit that happens both inside classrooms and outside, and your life will be richer for it.
